I found this drama fascinating. Trevor Eve had the voice spot on, but at times he looked more like a grey haired Bob Monkhouse than Hughie Green.
Great to see Kate Williams too, very underrated actress.

One little quibble...in the Op Knocks sequence they had Tony 'wheels cha cha muscle man' Holland played by a completely bald man!

Last weeks 'Hancock and Joan' was a real eye opener. I was surprised at how well Ken Stott did as Hancock, but I struggled with Alex Jennings as Le Mesurier because I kept seeing Prince Charles (who Jennings portrayed in The Queen).

I'm looking forward to the final film on Frankie Howerd even I don't like David Walliams much, I find him a tad creepy.

It's been a good series. I've watched all of them. I enjoyed the Hancock one last week although I thought I wouldn't be as interested in him - but as you say, Ken Stott played a good part.

The Hughie Green one was an eye opener, I didn't know he was such a womaniser ! although, what any woman would see in him is beyond me !! :$ik:

Looking forward to the Frankie Howerd one. I saw Frankie Howerd live on the Playhouse (must have been late 1980s). We were sitting in the front row and because my mum has a raucous laugh he homed in on her with his gags. :D

Blimey, there was some bonking going on in that!
