It's just a hobby, really. Although I am toying with the idea of doing some postcards. . .

I have a website mikeys.org (http://mikeys.org) but it's just your general homepage thing. There are a couple of slideshows on my Photos page (http://mikeys.org.uk/Photo/index.html)

Yep. I worked in the Reprographics department. In the attic. Miss Pridgeon was the big boss and Eddie Roos was her second in command. I loved working there.

I started on Nov 5th 1979 and finished a year later, when my YOP ended.

Ged
04-11-2008, 10:48 AM
It is indeed a small world, I notice you also know Kev from your mini mad days. I remember those you mention, big old Miss Pridgeon but I was under Old Jim and Alan who had to organise events at the youth clubs and scorers for table tennis etc - I also had to attend footy matches at the Heron Eccles and King George V playing fields etc on cold weekend mornings when I wasn't playing myself Brrrr. - much colder standing around than participating. There were a good few of us on those YOP schemes there then.

The other end of the building has collapsed even more recently. Of course someone owns these buildings. The City council should ensure the absentee owner keeps the building in a safe condition.
