One of those programmes that I have though 'blx, I should have watched that from episode 1' but have missed it. The 70's setting is cool. I like the main actor fella too. Oh well, I've got some great 70's pics of me in shorts, plus my mum and dad getting married in big mazzie flares :Colorz_Grey_PDT_16:

I loved the first series. Remember the bizzies too well in the 70s. I won't go into too many details, but one of their little games as a kid in Canny Farm was to sweep a few of us up and drop us off in the middle of Kirkby, then informing the local nutters that we were there. This was when we were policed by the Lancashire Constabulary based in Prescot. Things got a bit better after the Liverpool police took over.

Dave, that reminds me of a time in Garston that happened to me in the 80's when I was 10. The place that was locally called 'The Woody' now the site of a Red Row housing estate. We used to go down there often to ride our bikes and just enjoy the open spaces etc. One time we spotted a large fire so we decided to investigate. Sitting around it keeping warm minding our own business. Suddently this blue transit van appeared with these two fellas going mad who told us to get in the van. Me in the back and my mate in the front, shouting and balling at us for no reason. I'm sure they said they were gonna do this and that and take us the police station etc....

My mate eventually started to cry that hysterically that they eventually let us out at the bottom of Dock Rd by Garston Darks.

I've mentioned it somewhere else on the forum.

That is really really scary Kev. At least with the bizzies, we knew what was going to happen.

........... oohh, how I'd LOVE to do that with the scumbag scallies from around here !

What a great idea :handclap: (not meaning innocent lads tho' :Colorz_Grey_PDT_24: )

I'd sweep up the asbo pests (the ones who have been terrorising our pensioners and vulnerable people) and I'd set 'em down in the middle of somewhere really rough - somewhere with bigger and tougher scallies who'd scare the hell out of 'em. Let's see how big they'd be then ! :unibrow:
