On this middling sort of morning I dodge the spring showers to make our way up the hill passing the suspicious looking workman that has been loitering about her for a few weeks now, on and off. He looks the part in his workman boots with their big straps on either side to help pull them on. His flat cap covers his remaining hair and pulled down low over his eyes shields his glance as he watches his prey. Today his works van full of tools is open and he has even brought some of the bright orange power tools out onto the grass to add to his disguise. Then I see his using the spade to trim back the grass that is starting to encroach onto the footpath. Very kind of him but I wonder why is he cutting our grass when we haven't asked him to.
I see the shock on his face as I stop with my dog and pass pleasantry's with him. His brain working overtime to try and conceal his real reason for loitering about and trying to look busy. The gadgets Seamus has to help him in his spy mission aren't up to the imaginative mind of Cubby but sure they'll come in handy at the weekend when he has his garden to work at.
Oh the life of a spy looks so appealing I was just wondering where could I get a job application. I fancy a go with all those fancy tools our Seamus has in his DB9, on no sorry it's a Hi Ace van he's driving. I can just imagine Seamus telling the barman "I like my Guinness neither shaken nor stirred"
I wonder will his catch phrase ever catch on?
