This is midday in Blackpool as my sidekick and I are on our way to see the Riverdance ferry aground on the beach. We couldn`t hop on the tram as they are laying new lines. It took us 2 hours to reach the wreck, and it was only on our way back that I found that there was a bus service to the train station for our journey home.

Yes Chris it is a war memorial. £80,OOO was spent last year cleaning it and restoring the gardens around it.
