PhilipG 02-28-2008, 11:08 AM Gore's Street Directories, in the 'Trades' section, under 'Greengrocers'. In the 1930s, for instance, there were hundreds! Oh, you're in Australia! Do you have a specific query? I'll look for you. Waterworths were about the biggest greengrocers, but I don't know how far back they went. Browniescorner 02-28-2008, 02:21 PM I am looking for what was probably a small greengrocers in Milford st, I think on the corner of Milford & Grt Howard streets. In about 1901. Partsky 02-28-2008, 09:31 PM Pegrams was also a common, but now defunct, chain of greengrocers and general supply stores in Liverpool. Long since gone though.............................. PhilipG 02-29-2008, 07:59 PM Anthony Morris at 354, about halfway between Blackstone St & Townsend St is the only greengrocer to be listed. Microfilms are sometimes awful to read. :PDT_Piratz_26: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2282/2300834216_1100d9087f_o.jpg
