Many of you will know Ronnie Drew that gravel voiced singer of the Dubliners fame.

Ronnie is seriously ill with cancer and appeared last night on the Late Late Show to hear the cream of Irish music sing a tribute song that they have recorded for him with the proceeds going to a cancer charity. If you watch the video to the very end you will get a quick glimpse of Ronnie sitting in the audience about to speak to the presenter. The treatment has destroyed that famous white hair and long beard he is so famous for.

Brilliant man, and an absolute gentleman. Have met him and heared him perform several time.
