Hi All
I am researching the WW1 memorial at Our Lady Of Reconciliation Church, Eldon Street, Vauxhall, Liverpool.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has a relative listed on the memorial, or anyone who knows anything about any of the men listed. Its a long shot, but worth a try
Also any info on the church itself. its History, or when the war memorial was erected and by who?
cheers.
Tony.

Gnomie, I will bet all my money that if you contact the Eldonian Centre in Vauxhall or get on their web site you will find the names. Our Ladys was my Mums Parish and whilst my lot have died out so many of the Eldonians have families who have stayed there for over a hundred years. I cant print the link but you will find the site under Eldonian

Hi gnomie,
a good source of local information is the "Scottie press" website.(just type that in!) There's a section on local churches/parishes, and some of the better known characters of the past!
see ya!
