Thanks for your kind words, Kev, John, and Robbo.

Brownie, you need to use a photo account such as Flickr or Photobucket. When you have that you just paste in the URL for your photo into the image coding at the top of the posting box. Good luck.

Took this today while on the Waterloo Dock wall. It hasn`t got long to live
now as the canal link is coming through here,so I presume they`ll develop here.

what is that green thing on the second picture? And why do the feet look like they were raised and not a dent in the sand?

Fine photograph, gregs dad. And as you note, a memoir of transitory nature.

That green thing is a leaf growing under the water at a causeway. Something so simple but to me it was beautiful.
As for the feet appearing to be raised on the sand, as an amatuer photograher I can't answer that question. I have many photos taken this way & they are all the same, but it makes for great photos.

That green thing could be also an alien in an early stadium. :)
And the feet...... maybe it is because our brain is used to see feet in that way and not as a sunken shape. And for that reason it recognizes it as a hill and not a valley.
I have often the same problems with moon-pictures. I see there many small hills, even though it are craters.

no, now I can see the craters. But the feet don't work.

Have you ever seen a tree playing piggy back by growing on another tree?

My return to Hale, not cycling there for a while, takes 40 minutes on the bike but I made a wrong turn on the way home and took an hour.:PDT_Xtremez_42:
