Can I take this opportunity to publically thank Moderators for their careful moderation of the forum and those members who have remained calm in this difficult period.

As many have already stated, we face periods like this but thankfully they are rare and usually blow over within a day or two, this one didn't unfortunately.

I don't know the full story but relationships seemed to have soured between one member and others, who became involved whether they wanted too or not. I can only assume from many emails and PM's I received on the matter over a long period of time that this happened away from the forum, something I have no control over and cannot get involved in.

On this forum, the final straw came today I understand, the offending posts have thankfully been removed and the member banned.

All we need to do is be aware and follow the Forum Rules (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=321) and Forum Etiquette (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5949) guidelines that are there to ensure the forum remains a safe and friendly place to be for all. I understand we all have blips now and again but repeated failure to follow these will result in action being taken.

Me and the Mods will continue to monitor content posted on the forum and within the **shoutbox and will take action when necessary. Decisions have to be made swiftly using our own judgement based on our interpretation of Rules and Etiquette.

There's so much more I could write but I'll open my bottle of red wine instead, its been a busy several days.

I can only pop on when my busy schedule allows me, so I'm not completely aware exactly what happened yet or who was banned, however, I too thank the moderators and Kev for keeping this place a pleasant place to visit and for doing what was necessary with this particular incident.
