I like it to make jigsaw puzzles. But they have always so stupid kitschy pictures. Why the hell don't they make jigsaws with pictures like the first?

Myself on holiday in 1982 cycling and camping around the Lake District on my Claud Butler bike.
Had my last camping holiday there last year so after 50 years of camping up
there I`m retiring from camping. Gave all my eqipment away so from now on
I`ll have to get used to sleeping in a cottage up there.

Excellent photos, gregs dad! Much enjoyed. I bet they bring back great memories for you if tinged with sadness. In regard to the plane crash site, are those actual pieces of the crashed plane?

Hi Chris48, for the last 18 years I have always stayed in "God`s Little Acre
Stonethwaite,Borrowdale on the same site. I became friendly with the site owner and people of the valley so we were able to rent a very cheap cottage off the relations of the site owner,so we go there a couple of times a year now.

I have a painting on my wall that my dad did of the Newland Chapel in 1969. We stayed at Keskadale farm at the top of the S bend hill on the way to Buttermere. We had a Ford Anglia and the car didn't have the steam to get to the top. My dad used to take a run at it and eventually he would get there. I was up there recently and I saw a Shepherd with a crook and dogs walking the sheep home. Never saw that before. The Honister pass by the stream that you have pictured is lovely exept for all the human excrement left behind in various places!
