The fridge is full of goodies
The larder stuffed to bursting
It's days since we went shopping
Tesco's profits will be hurting

The shower is free to use
There's towels not on the floor
The sound of music not so loud
No slamming of the door

The car is in the drive way
There's petrol in the tank
We sit and wonder who or what
For these miracles we have to thank

Our washing machine was weeping
The tumble dryer in distress
Our son had got his own place
Our home's no longer a mess

Lovely peom Gerry but take my word for it, you never get shut of them. My lad is now working in Japan but he still turns up to eat me out of house and home. ha ha ha. This is all for the dubious priviledge of being called a father.

My daughter moved out a year ago, she makes sure we still see her, she has LOADS of DIY for her dad. She still comes here regularly for her favourite foods. I hated her going but i have got used to it now. Its amazing how fast time flies.

My theory is that all kids should be born aged 27, take you for a pint and leave home the next day.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

I wouldn't like to be a woman - - Full stop. They have a rough time, despite being the gentler sex.

I've got 4 children and never felt a thing when they were born. It was two gas 'n airs for me and one for her.
