Michael was a big lad
But he was an only son
So I'd gladly wait in line
When his things were done
I got all his Mechano
His Lego by the load
But as his Action Man
He held on to that hoard
But when he turned eleven
The clothes they had to stop
Everything was way to big
His shoes would go clip clop
We moved out of the Creggan
When I seen him on the news
His life had gone so badly
He had strong political views
He died an awful death in prison
Sadly died by his own hand
I'm glad he didn't hand that down
I want to live for my Ireland
