View Full Version : Professional Footballers Acting Badly?

During Manchester United's 6-0 thrashing of Newcastle today, Carlos Tevez again pulled out his dummy (pacifier) and put it in his mouth to celebrate his two goals. I don't mind the miming in a goal celebration, Garcia putting his thumb in his mouth or Bebeto rocking the baby, Cahill boxing with the corner flag or Keane's somersault and quick draw, but something extraneous like a dummy for goodness sake is a bit much. Similarly, AC Milan's Kaká at the World Club Championship, lifting up his jersey to reveal another shirt underneath with the slogan "Jesus Loves Me." Shouldn't such statements by footballers be banned? Why should the public have to put up with this stuff?

And I defer to your greater wisdom on these matters. And yes Tevez should have been booked for the dummy act, disgraceful way to act and brings the game down.:disgust:
