It won`t be long now before we have those hazy crazy days of summer back.
Took this after a day in the hills of the lake district in the`70`s at
Birk`s Bridge over the River Duddon
Wow - was that deep enough to jump in like that - brave soul. OR..
Is he slyly standing on tip toe with one foot - can't tell?

Ged it`s about 15 to 20 ft deep depending on the rainfall you also had to
swim against the current to stay in one place

It's a lot more pleasant surfing in the heat of the summer

I gripped on so tightly to the surfboard in Waikiki, Hawaii. I left toe nail marks in the board. There was no queue to ask me for surfing lessons.

The problem with photographing my boys in the surf is they don't see me and I usually get a slap from their boards.
