08 opening to be shown on ITV

Highlights from the opening events on Friday and Saturday are to shown on ITV on Sunday 13th from 22.45 - 23.30. I thought this might be off interest to expats as you can often watch ITV programmes live on the itv player at itv.com. I hope they are showing it nationwide not just the Granada area.


Sorry all, must be going cross-eyed - it's actually on BBC2 not ITV. Read the wrong column in Radio Times. BBC also have on-line viewing and you can usually watch programmes up to seven days after

Wish I could be there!!! The coverage on News 24 is deplorable, they said it would be full coverage, instead its just jumping to and from St Georges Hall to various news reports.

Not impressed. Currently sat in the front room, listening to Radio Merseyside.
