Incident in Halewood 6th Jan. Any info??

Outside my in laws house off Mackets Lane in South Liverpool there was an incident involving the police (Not the shooting but something else, maybe connected). I wondered if anyone had any info on what it was about.

The helicopter was about some time in the afternoon and the police where chasing another car. Around 6 cars in total turned up with the police jumping out, truncheons ready and i believe dragged the person out of his car quite forcefully.

Any one have any info??

Don't know about this incident, I only heard about the shooting.

Not sure if we have anyone who lives near by to Macketts lane.

Tried looking on the Merseyside police website but nothing there. It was my 20 month old baby who actually brought it to my inlaws attention as he heard the helicopter and wanted to see it. Next thing all the police cars and commotion. Just curious as to what it was. I only live off Mackets lane myself but was at work at the time.
