Just wanted to wish Kev an the site happy new year and a Happy 08 considering the excellent contribution he has made over recent years in setting up the site and allowing ordinary folk to comment on all things 08. Now that 08 is here I just wanted to give Kev his due.

I couldn't agree more - what a WONDERFUL forum this is! :) A BIG "thank you" to Kev for creating this great place and to all the members for making it what it is: a friendly place full of kind people and lots of fascinating information. It feels so good to get updates on all the latest news, events, developments and changes in the city I love so much but which I can't visit at the moment, unfortunately. This is the second best thing to actually being there - and it cures part of my "homesickness". :)

Thank you all so much for being so welcoming and kind and for keeping this forum so remarkably peaceful and civilised! :)
