Caterina... lindylou 12-31-2007, 06:35 PM I've been pottering around all day doing chores, cleaning, ironing - all the usual boring things. Then walking the hound. Talking on the phone a lot - popping in and out of the forum, cooking .. and now I'm having a cup of tea reading these posts. :) Kev 12-31-2007, 06:51 PM After deciding against shopping in Liverpool, we drove to Prescot and I bought a nice woolly jumper for the soon to come cold weather :PDT11 Had a big KFC too but the least said about that the better :PDT_Xtremez_42:(New Years Resolution number 1) SteH 12-31-2007, 07:02 PM Got up at 7am to nurse hangover after a quite a session in Manchester following yesterdays Man City v Liverpool game, went to work at 9, came home for dinner to give wife flowers to apologise for yesterdays behaviour and found she wasnt in, left flowers in vase on table, back to work, fought way through crowds at Asda, came home and pointed the flowers out to wife who hadnt noticed them, now enjoying catching up and looking forward to seeing the old year out and new one in as 2007 has been quite an up and down one for me. lindylou 12-31-2007, 07:10 PM mulling over whether to stay in or go out tonight iain 01-01-2008, 11:47 PM I've been returning to Liverpool after spending Christmas at my parents' house in St Helens, then put new brakes on my bike after nearly running into the back of a car on the way home from work on Christmas Eve :unibrow:, then having a few cans of beer so I can use them all up and get on with my resolution of drinking less :rolleyes:, and finally psyching myself up for the return to work tomorrow :disgust: caterina 01-02-2008, 07:11 AM Hi Iain hope your first day back at work goes ok i know the feeling i am lucky retired now 4 yrs don,t know how i found time to go work now . Need to sort my health and weight out, as well as saving a small fortune. lottie 01-02-2008, 12:29 PM I met Molly and Ben at Stevens last night, we had a great time talking and didn't leave till late.I was brilliant meeting at last. Had a lie in this morning, got up to my husband making me a cup of tea and then he cooked me a lovely breakfast. Not been out today myself our car passed it,s yearly test and now one of the brake cylinders is leaking so back to the garage on Mon stuck in nownever mind will just listen to good music. Caterina. shoney 01-05-2008, 07:39 PM worked at home in the garden all day cutting the grass, trimming all the trees and weedspraying, was a stinking hot day so had many trips to the fridge in the garage for a cold one, then in the evening we went to a mates place for a barbecue with a house full of jocks,celtic and rangers boys actually mingling , my lad dropped us off and picked us up so we didn't have to drive home , just woke up and thankfully i haven't got a headache so I can start all over again today. My house seems bare without them. So I just got stuck in and did some housework. I am on my third load of washing now. However, it was worth it, they are really nice people, we have met some wonderful members and all in all, had a very exciting week. I normally dust most days and hoover (propper housewife me) but today everything is being dragged out. Caterina... molly 01-06-2008, 06:51 PM I have had a busy day, left Liverpool early this morning, leaving behind some wonderful and genuine friends, but taking with me some fantastic memories of a brilliant week in Liverpool. Got Home, emptied suitcases, got washing on and I as now gonna sit and relax as Im back to work tomorrow after two weeks off. Thank you Steven for all your kindness, hospitality, cooking and outings. Brilliant meeting Lottie and her husband for the first time, and again meeting up with them on the Friday night. Fantastic people. :hug::hug::hug::hug: Steven 01-08-2008, 12:00 PM I have spent the morning in the Old Sefton General Hospital. I took a 'bad turn' in the Grapes (Mathew Street) on Friday night. I thought I had fainted but my doctor agreed with Lottie, Molly and the others, when they said it was worse that that. She sent me for blood tests this morning, so now I am waiting on the results. caterina 01-08-2008, 03:40 PM Hi Steven so sorry to hear you were taken ill lets hope the tests will turn out ok for you. good job you were with good friends to help. as for me i have been to my slimming class and then afterlunch made a batch of scones but sadly will have to freeze most of them to stop temptation..
