Your brain feels like it’s ready to burst your skull wide open like a boa shedding it’s old skin.
Your eyes feel like leaden divers boots and the strain of keeping the open makes that lead all the heavier.
The joints in your fingers creak and strain with ever slightest movement and you swear they are going to just seize up any second.
Your stomach seems to be holding the contents of a long feast not long consumed but the gas building is ready to erupt at any second.
Your skin feels sweaty and warm, your body starting to smell like it’s already decomposing.
Your arms feel heavy and bloated and the blood tingles as it struggles through your veins.
Your mind is buzzing with a million thoughts, problems needing solutions, policies needing consideration tasks needing action.
What chance have you of the much needed sleep with that brass band marching through your head.
But needless tomorrow will bring you more abuse, scorn and attack.
All in a days work.
