Hi shank

I have bought and sold things on ebay and must admit it is difficult dealing with them and to get a "real person" to try to deal with problems such as the one you describe. I was though once involved in an identity theft incident in which someone stole my "handle" in order to sell a car. On that occasion the ebay administration did act quickly to take down the con listing and fix things to my satisfaction. I wish you luck with your problem, shank -- I agree with you that you should not have to pay anything.

Hi Shank. I can't help you there as I've never used EBay.

Maybe someone here can advise.

Why did you advertise it as car parts in the first place?

I think shank is saying that ebay listed it under "car parts."

I've sold about 20 cars on E-bay and never once put it under 'car parts' - they will say it is the user error. You have plenty of time to review your advert before you place it.
