So Alan Davies career with the BBC is in doubt after attacking a homeless man outside the Groucho club for the rich and famous in London.

For those of you who like Alan  and may feel sorry for him, did you know he once put Liverpool into room 101?

For those who do not know what room 101 is,it is a BBC TV show.the guests come on and try to convince the presenter to put things they hate into room 101.

And here is the proof. Some room 101 fan has uploaded that episode to Youtube.Sry you will have to put up with Alan's hilarious antics until 2.11 before he starts ripping into Liverpool.

Firstly he is not funny - only mildly humerus. Strange, as he was promoting John Lennon on TV in the greatest Briton of all time. He visited Lennon's house.

Still not funny and deserves jail.

you see ... this is exactly the kind of thing we discussed in the 'L'pool stereotype' thread.

... and people wonder why some of us get so sensitive about criticism.

.. some of that audience laughing out loud at the jibes - and laughing at Brian Jaques. It makes me so angry
of course they had to pick that clip of him sounding a bit cliched about the dockers nicknames - - what they don't realise is that this man is a brilliant writer, clever and witty.

those people laughing - don't they just love any opportunity to see us squirm :disgust: - sorry, but it gets my back up !

I am very disappointed in Alan Davies. :PDT_Xtremez_12:

ps,

and in that clip, why didn't they mention the greatest comedian of them all - - - Ken Dodd.

What about Alexei Sayle who was in the young ones, the idiot.

When this was filmed Red Dwarf was one of the top comedy shows on TV so how about Craig Charles?

He also missed out Freddie Starr and Kenny Everett.

I hope one night he trys to shake hands with a famous scouser outside
the Groucho club and they can whisper the names of these comedians to him then bite his ear.see how he likes it.:handclap:

I've never found him funny, and that isn't sour grapes.
