I love Ringo's latest single!
My m8 rekons he is cashing in on Liverpool 08, but i think it's great that he is bringing out an album by the same name and also playing in Liverpool in January.

Yeah, it's ok and very Ringo-ish. Mentions Madryn St and Admiral Grove too and sings how he left Liverpool but never let them down. Why shouldn't he cash in anyway, he's probably a few million quid behind the others and only just in double figures.

Well I think Liverpool could have got 08 anyway due to its significant historic buildings and heritage, but the allure of the Beatles' story certainly did not hurt!!!
