as this comes under a liverpool L24 postcode,is this a part of south liverpool,or is the posts for hale somewhere else????anyone know?...thanks

Hello fiftyfive.
Hale is in Cheshire but a beautiful place as you'll no doubt be aware.

Hale of course used to be in Lancashire. It should logically be in Lancashire or Merseyside still.

Lancashire must've been very big at one time as Ulveston, Cumbria where Stan Laurel was born was in Lancashire back then. L postcodes only provide post sorting office information though as Ormskirk and Burscough in Lancashire are L postcodes.
