What means do you use.

My husband has an allotment so we save yoghurt cartons put holes in the bottom use to grow seedlings..

Plastic milk containers cut into strips make ideal plant labels if you use a waterprioof pen.

All newspaper cardboard is torn up and put into trenches to grow runner beans and courgettes and squashes

Plastic carrier bags when we get them we reuse in bins etc and reuse as long as they last..

I recycle as much as I can, the usual stuff like plastic, glass, cans, paper, and leaving it out every other week for collection.

I reuse plastic bags. it must be years since I bought bin liners - I always use carrier bags.
Also, I save used stamps for charity.

Yep, re-use carrier bags, put garden rubbish either in the green wheelie bin
or my compost bin, newspaper and ally cans go in the blue wheelie bin

Recycled paper and glass for as long as I remember, now we've got blue wheelie bins have got into the milk cartons and carboard food boxes too. My mum is seriously into it, even tried to get me and Mrs SteH to stop using dispsoable nappies on our son.

Can I also recommend www.freecycle.org, sign up to the Liverpool group - you do get a hell of a lot of email thoughs, so be warned.

I find it really good for the stuff you'd possibly be considering taking to the dump, and just posting up as a last chance to let someone else use...

There is some useful stuff out there as well, so far I've managed to get a printer and a tumble dryer!
