Just getting bits of info that...
2am this morning there was a shooting in Walton.
A bullet through a window.
I think they got the wrong house as a pensioner lives there.

Update:
4 bullets shot through a window in Walton Vale.
Broadway (all blocked off this morning) and Walton park also had a shooting-(no other news yet)!!

Talking this morning to people who live off Priory rd - a block of shops between Clovelly rd and Thurston rd has been cordoned off by police and also opposite the block - Armly rd cordoned off.
There was a 'drugs' battle and someone got beaten with an iron bar and there was a stabbing.

There was a murder off Townsend lane last week. Don't think it's connected to this latest incident though.

Stanley Rd closed at Gt Mersey St since early this morn. Bus driver said he was told it was a shooting. there were ARV's patrolling around as our bus was diverted.
when I went out to town this morning the folks in the paper suits were there pointing at some wasteground near the shops.

at least the bobbies didn't have to travel far. it's just over 100 yards to the police station.

No one pays much attention to these incidents now.

I'm afraid to say they are so common place no one turns a hair or bothers to ask !!

Anfield was snoo'ing with police last week when a 54 year old woman was strangled in her own home (front page head line news in L'pool Echo).

The following days saw some street violence in connection to that case.

This latest incident on Priory road is connected to another thing which happened a while back. I won't say what at the moment !!
