We usually put the tree up second weekend in Dec. - still early 'ish - but we have to do it then as my husband works weekends right up until Xmas eve, and he has sort out all our Xmas lights before he gets too busy. :)

Cards - I bought some today but won't write any just yet. Have a few that have to get posted abroad early tho'

I know it's a drag to have to untangle. Last year I remembered to wrap them around the cardboard tubes inside the kitchen rolls. I'm putting my lights and deckies up tomorrow but I'm not sending cards this year. I am giving what I usually spend to the children in need charity.

Our decies go up today but first things first must make an Advent Calendar/

hello everyone thankyou for your replies i like to put mine up later and i will be posting some of my cards next week. It is a nice idea to give the money to charity instead of cards i always buy charity ones..

I put my decorations up a fortnight before Christmas. All cards written, sent my friend in Australia's Friday. Sending rest today. People i hand them too will get them next week. Starting wrapping presents today.
