I recently saw a demolition notice on a lampost in London Road...Nos 181-185. This is close to the Falkland Street junction, incase anyone hasn't snapped the buildings yet.

Dovedale Baptist Church, Mossley Hill. Until about 20 years ago, this church was known as Wavertree Baptist Church. This is a fascinating building. It's the only one I know in Liverpool which uses the flint rubble wall construction technique so common in East Anglia.

Hi Philip, what kind of shop is it?

PhilipG

Hi Philip, what kind of shop is it?

Hard to say, really.
A bit like a trendy market, or an up-market Quiggins (like they're set up in Central Hall).
I stuck my head in, and somebody said "Can I help you?".
So I asked could I take photos of the wall carvings, and got a funny look, so I said I won't take any photos of the stalls, and didn't pay any attention to them.
See #24 in this thread.
