Were these mystery mirrors made by Liverpool firm Stoniers destined for the Titanic.

Interesting story, but this sums it up for me...
Inevitably people want to link items to the Titanic. But it’s pretty difficult to prove.
“They could’ve come from any number of ships that used Southampton and they may have more luck finding out about them there.”
Unfortunately there are too many stories and rumours surrounding that ship. Unless someone provides overwhelming evidence, I'll just take it as the Echo filling some column space.
Crikey!!
Officials are now appealing for more information about the 52, 18ins-wide mirrors.
“We’re not sure if they were intended to be furnishings or whether they belonged to a lady on board who was going to do some type of seance but wasn’t allowed.”
Why would this guy say that?
I've heard of a scrying mirror, but a seance using 52 mirrors???
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one, or has Tom Slemen beat me to it
