Thanks... its not always possible to get to Liverpool as I now live outside the city and work shifts full time, I was wondering if there was a directory online, or if anybody else who lived in the area may have known, I am aware that the record office will have maps, but ive noticed other people asking similar questions and getting a positive response so I thought I would ask the question, however I think chippie answered my question with Meaburn street thanks Chippie :)

You asked if there's anywhere you could look, so the obvious answer was the Record Office.
If you can't get to Liverpool you can buy reprints of the OS maps from here:

Thanks Dave, I have managed to establish with the kind help of Chippie that the street I was looking for was Melia Street

Thanks for replying

Thanks Chippie, now that suprises me as I was absolutely certain it was MELIA STREET but both maps say it was MELA STREET see it is said you learn something everyday, and that I certainly have.

Once again thanks for your time and effort :handclap:
