It's a Heron Oudeis!, unfortunatly i could'nt get close enough for a better pic. My local beach 'Long Bay' is a Marine Reserve. and includes a very nice park, and two streams that pass through it on their way to the beach, each stream is situated at opposite ends of the beach, so my walk is from one to the other! the furthest one is often the abode of many birds, both sea and land based. Some of those bits of drift-wood, sand blasted and polished-up would look good around the house though...anything to keep you indoors on a day like this?
