Stevie G must be pretty sure it'll never happen to lend his support regarding blocking foreigners when you think Lfc would suffer as much as any of the top 4. I also wonder how his team-mates feel about his views.
It won't happen of course as long as the free movement of European people is allowed and that'll now probably be forever.

He's got his England hat on, he'll be saying how great for the game they are in ten days. Most worrying I think is the number of 15-16 year olds being brought to England. Surely there is enough talent around in this country to nurture without having to look abroad.
Was listening to wall to wall footy phone-ins including this subject last night while out driving. Century FM Legends followed by BBC Radio Merseyside's Alan Jackson.
It appears that Everton are top of the league with bringing homegrown youngsters through to Premiership football. They named recent proteges as Jeffers, Ball, Rooney, Dunne, McCann, Clarke, Osman, Hibbert, Vaughan and Anichebe.
No other team to finish in the top 4 recently used so much homegrown talent or free or on-loan players to their advantage.
It appears that they could easily field a current team of British born - Premiership experienced players only - most of them being English.
GK: Turner. LB: Baines. RB: Hibbert. CB: Lescott. CB: Stubbs. LW: McFadden.
RW: Osman. CM: Carsley. CM: Neville. F: Johnson. F: Vaughan.
Sub: Jagielka.
If the 4 foreigners rule was re-implemented (unlikely) - Cahill, Anichebe, Arteta and Yobo would be my choices to make the actual team - though we could still have Yakubu and Gravesen as squad players.

Homegrown definitely, but I think that the use of the word talent with some of those listed might be stretching it a bit Ged.:unibrow:

Not all of those are English. Non-English = foreign.
Which is why I said 'most' of them being English - yes 2 are not
