An 11-year-old boy who died after falling 200ft down a mountain was a talented sportsman who touched the hearts of everyone he met, his father has said.

Liam Costello, of Childwall, Liverpool, was in a walking party with his father and another family in Snowdonia when he slipped and tumbled down the Crib Goch part of the mountain.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at Gwynedd Hospital in Bangor on Friday after he suffered extensive head injuries in the fall.
Liam's father, also called Liam, said the youngster had recently earned himself a trial with Lancashire Cricket Club.
