Could someone explain what the Gores directories are. What information can you get from them, how to obtain them and are there directories for all U.K.

Gores Directories are similar to phone books & usualy list the head of the Household

I bought mine from Archive CD books but it has closed down :(

I have 1860 & 1911 if you would like a look up ......& 1938 on its way from Archive books closing down sale :PDT11

you can search them at the Records office or online at
