Default Runcorn Tragedy

Two children killed trying to cross the motorway with their scooter, only about 5/6 years old

Dreadful news. The poor kids were hit by 3 different cars. This is so awful.

Very sad, Phredd. Many thanks for the link. I will wait to hear more about this appalling incident. I do agree with you about the fact that one has to wonder how they could be out this late unsuperintended. Parents to blame again?

Very sad that two innocent kids are killed ?
Out that late,so far from home at that age and near woods? Great parental guidance there.If the kids couldn't be seen outside playing its time to panic I would of thought? No,as long as they use the bridge it seems they were ok.
Kids will wander at that age,its a big adventure when you're a kid.So I don't blame the parents although my parenting would of been much different.

I heard they'd been reported missing and the police were looking for them at the time.

Perhaps, they were pushing motor scooters as well. I dont want to jump to conclusions, but what the effin hell is going on there.
