£35.75 for general,£44 seated(at a Quo concert) then it gets silly with BBQ or hotel etc.

Another retirement gig . These "big" stars think the older they get the more expensive they get. Most of em' qualify for a bus pass for gawds sake:PDT10

If he was still alive, how much would you pay to see Zappa?
Don't blame the bands, have a go at the promoter/venue etc.
If young 'now' bands are still going in 30 years I'll show my arse in Lewis's window.

I would pay £40 to see my favourite acts/bands. It isn't any different from a football match - the difference being you are more likely to be more entertained seeing your favourite bands!

Good question Gnasher. Well, if he had retired and came back to do a one off gig I would pay upto £300. Only because I know I will get good musical entertainment with top musicians. So I suppose it's whoever you think is worth your hard earned cash. :PDT11

Not a case of whether a band would be worth the cost, it's a case of not everyone can afford the luxury of parting with quite large amounts of hard earned money for tickets. Especially when running a family household and supporting kids - sadly your income is not for such indulgent fripperies.
Many a good concert passes, money having to go on other things I'm afraid, and it seems the older you get the more your money is accounted for!

What if you was pretty well off. Had no money worries or bill worries. Would you then care about paying over a 100 quid or more to see the popstar of your choice. ?
I think even I would say at that price.... "sod off Frank, get some cheaper musicians in" lol
