I have a bug in my system which I have been unable to remove

It comes up with message Firefox exe has a problem and then proceeds to close whatever I am in bacck to desktop.
Its becoming a pain.

I have deleted Firefox and then reinstalled, I have tried a number of trojan removers, claeners but without any joy.

It looks like the only way to remove would be manually in Safe Mode which I dont really want to do.
Suggestions please.

John, I have a similar issue with my slow laptop. It seems that whenever it comes across anything it can't cope with (due to its age, power etc) it locks and closes, then asking if I want to report it.

When it carms down it then asks me if I want to restore the last session, does this sound familiar?

It comes up with firefox exe has a experienced a problem and will have to shut down, another little box appears then shuts down, it then says new session or restore session.
I understand it is a trojan not too sure how I got it, maybe as part of the messiong I have had with wireless setup.

Have tried a number of programmes to remove but no joy.
Computer is running fine otherwise.
