Not sure whether to post this here or the worst photo of the day. I was supposed to be photgraphing some china in the Maritme Museum. Didn't quite come out that way but at least there's a sort of reflection of me

Are you American? I never got to Hawaii. I friend of mine was married there and I was supposed to go, however a family problem prevented travel at the time.

I see you still have our flag in the corner of yours: :-) Maybe it should be a Liver bird :-)

You would love it there Waterways. It has a large canal very near to Naked Lilac, called the Ala Wai canal ( excuse the spelling).

The canal comes out at a place called *Magic Island* ~ There they have Aloha Friday Fireworks.

From where I stayed, it takes about 25 mins to walk to Waikiki beach.

Naked Lilac knows the Islands of a Hawaii, and is a very pretty and well informed lady.
You could not put yourself into better hands, should you want to visit Honolulu.

I was not going to use a mirror for a reflection but it was the only one I could come up with, so here in all his crinkled glory is Phredd. >>>>>>

Nice pic, that is a Beardmore taxi, I owned the last one working on Merseyside in the early 70's. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of it. :(

The one I had was a 1959, I bought it from a driver who was retiring. I bought it just to get the licence but it was in good shape so I drove it for a year untill its testing expired, because of the age it couldn't be relicenced, at that time they were allowed 10 retests so at 11 years old they couldn't be used. It was a cute vehicle, it had a Perkins diesel engine, 3 speed on the column and did about 45 miles to the gallon. I sold it to some students for private use when i got rid of it in 1971.
