1-1. Three penalties, one scored and two missed. Should be an interesting game in two weeks over in the Ukraine.

Johnson should have never been allowed to take that second penalty, his nerves must have gone by then. Reminiscent of when Crouch tried to break his Anfield duck and missed. I still think the Blues will get through.

Worth noting that the blues drew a helluva lot more than Chelsea did in the Champions League........nice one.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

Good luck in the 2nd leg lads.:handclap:

I think the 2nd leg will be interesting - not arf.

I think they went at it a big gung-ho, clearly expecting a goal fest whilst rubbing their hands which sometimes left only a couple of defenders at the back - a rather more prem type game that a patient build up, perhaps showing their European inexperience with 3 up front, which sometimes seemed like 5 and all that.

However, if the first pen was going to be disallowed then so should have the re-take as even more were encroaching for that one and the none pen (where Anichebe got booked for demonstrating) was more of a pen than the first one) - no excuses for Johnson's balloon into the crowd for his number 3, errr 2 err you know what I mean but as luck would have it - yes, we were missing Mr Cool from the spot - Arteta.

Perhaps with him back and possibly Cahill (in replace of McFadden and maybe Osman (who I like), a more structured 4-4-2 will see us do it. Anyway, it was full of incident and you know that Everton can never do anything the easy way - here's hoping.

Incidentally, there was no need to chase the game at 1-0 because it's important not to conceed as 1-0 is better than 2-1.

I know Everton like to bame the Reds for lots of things, but blaming us for the ticketing problems is going a bit too far

I thought I was reading the Sunday Sport for a mo then with that ludicrous comment but having said that....

I do blame yous for the following:

1) Sandy Brown's own goal as he was put under pressure.

2) Coming double runners up in 86 because if yous weren't above us we'd have won the double.

3) can't think of anything at the mo but giz an hour or two.
