Bay TV Liverpool goes LIVE!
Hello and welcome to Bay TV Liverpool, which launched on 1st November 2011... and this is YOUR chance to get involved in something really big!
Based in the heart of Liverpool and covering the city region with a mix of news, sport and entertainment programmes Bay TV Liverpool is a new development in "internet TV"
Not only will we have a wealth of professionally-produced material, but the site is open to YOU and all members of the public to upload directly to the site.
That includes news and comments - anything you can imagine really - along with a special section for your "classified ads".
The station is run by a start-up company whose founder-directors are former Granada TV Liverpool station manager, Chris Kerr and Chris Johnson, MD of Mercury Press and Media Ltd.
We have recruited a list of co-directors and consultants with long experience in broadcast TV. They include Simon Ellis-Jones, Peter Berry, Simon Malia and Jeff Pickett. They are working in tandem with independent producers and Bay TV in-house video journalists Hester Perry and Eamon Lavery.
Bay TV Liverpool is a partner in a consortium, led by AIMES Grid Services, a Liverpool University enterprise, and the government.
