Hello, I'm new to the area. With all the different eating and drinking places to choose from up on Allerton Road and beyond, I was wondering if somebody could give me some direction with the following question:

Which eating establishment on Allerton Road from Penny Lane to Rose Lane serves the best full English breakfast? It doesn't necessarily have to be located right on Allerton Road. Anywhere close enough will do.

There mostly just bars and pubs.

Most of the cafes serve food though.

Penny Lane Wine Bar seems popular though and serves food.

Wooltons better for eating than Allerton and Mossley Hill though.

Try the good old greasy spoon caff in the Penny Lane Shopping Centre, just off Church Rd ,Wavertree, close to its junction with Allerton Rd, Mossley Hill. They do all day breakfasts.

Good suggestion Taffy. There is also that place where Marie and I went a few days ago. You will have to help me out on this one?
Walk up Church Road towards the Coffee House. The first pub you come to on the left (sort of opposite the taxi rank).
Go into the large car park behind the pub and there is a shopping area.... Like a Netto ? There is also a nice little cafe and the coffee and food is good.

Yates on Allerton Rd do a good fry-up :drool:

There's another one, quite new, follow Stephen's directions, up Church road, just before you turn into the car park there's a cafe near the corner. I only had a cup of tea while I was there but the breakfast I saw being served looked good. Nice place as well.
