Movie Rotating

A bit of help from someone who thought he knew it all on PC's :PDT_Xtremez_42:

I've got an avi format movie on my PC but it has been recorded from a digi camera side on - i.e. when you play the movie, it is horizontal rather than the standard vertical.

I've tried everywhere to get something that will rotate this 90 degrees. Windows Movie Maker knackers up the sound so I can't use that.

Anyone got any tips?

Not something I've done before but there seems to be a lot of free programs available. I usually use www.download.com as a first point of call as you get their ratings as well as users ratings.
