I heard on the radio this morning that the Labour Party will have 200 or so members of the public into a Q&A session with their leader today.
Anyone going along?
Any questions?

Why did you and your brother sign upm for a tax avoidance scheme on the Death Duties tax applicable to your father's estate??

How can you crticise asset stripping Southern Cross and tolerate. as a Labour Life Peeress, Baroness Morgan, a Director of that Company since 2006?

How can you spot so much that is wrong with the last twelve months of Government and not find more wrongdoing in the previous thirteen Years?

OMG I could raise questions forever!!!:disgust:

Just heard from a mate in Liverpool - that Ed Mil used the old 'Hang it on a hook' questions technique.
i.e. he wouldn't answer one immediately , but wait and ask for 3 or more questions before answering, meanwhile.
His backroom researchers would then have time to enter the party line on his autocue.
from which he answered (adlib??) the questions.

Surely this wasn't so???.:disgust::disgust:

I had a look about to see what, if any, of this had made it out, but no. I checked out the blow-by-blow coverage of the day via the Guardian, but no mention was made. Maybe will shall have to wait until tomorrow.

Ed Miliband held a Q&A session with the public at the Labour conference. Two thousand of them – all screened on their way into the giant hall. "Amazing to find 2,000 people in Liverpool who passed a security check," said a colleague, though I would never say, still less think, such a thing.

As regards the conference - it's just words. Let's see if they can translate any of them into effective policies. :doubt:

What were the lyrics to that tune?
Oh yeah!

"It's only words
and words are all I have
to steal your heart away"
