In terms of information I would best describe Yo-Liverpool as starting off where others leave off. The quality of the information, and the pictures shown here, surpass all expectations. The local newspapers, Liverpool Echo and the Daily Post have had well over 100 years of practice. They're still working on it. They could learn much from yo-Liverpool.
It was never acknowledged by them but it was me who suggested they publish a locally inspired poem each day. They did. I also suggested they adopt the Daily Mail's 'Answers to Correspondents' column. You ask a question. They throw the answer open to readers to answer. The best are published.
They didn't adopt that idea. A pity. Never mind. Yo-Liverpool did and they do it so well. Bottoms up. I will drink to that.
