Does anybody know the whereabouts of famous theatreland landlady, Beryl Williams? I haven't spoken to her for over twenty years but, having heard no different, I'm assuming she's still alive.

That's correct. Her ex-husband is Allan Williams, first Beatles manager. She used to be my landlady; I'm writing about my time in Liverpool and I would love to talk to her again.

Yes, she's very much alive and well and was sighted by myself and wife (who had a few words with her) in the bar upstairs in FACT only a couple of days ago , where we were taking a look at the E Chambré Hardman Then and Now Exhibition there... Well worth taking a look at, BTW! Don't know where she lives now, but she used to have a house in Grove Park, L8.
