Which of todays "stars" do you think is all substance with little talent?
For my money it's got to be Jude Law and Keira Knightly.
Both quite pretty but in the stakes of being wooden give Pinocchio a run for the money!!

Mmmmmm. Shouldn't that be little talent with no substance?

Julia Roberts is an actress that appears to mostly "fill" a role without bring much to any project. She looks pretty and presentable and acts the part but has no real tangible presence.

I used to dislike Hugh Grant quite a lot and don't for the most part like the "silly ass" upper class types he plays, although I saw him recently in "Music and Lyrics" and thought he was quite good and also in "Extreme Measures" (1999) a thriller with Gene Hackman (one of my favorite actors) and he was excellent in what was an unusual role for him. So I have gained a new respect for Mr. Hugh Grant.

Couldn't agree more with you DC. How Jude Law ever got to where he is today is beyond me. Orlando Bloom is another...Brad Pitt as well. The only good films he is in are the ones where he plays a supporting role.

You've picked on 3 of the better looking film stars, which answers your question.

Right through history, the movie business has preferred good looking people, of both sexes.
