A huge thank you for your patience over the last couple of days, I haven't been sitting around twiddling my thumbs (I know you don't believe me) :PDT10.

The move took longer than anticipated due to the size of the database (where the information/ text is held) that needed to be moved and restored on the new server.

I was literally 'cutting and pasting' all day yesterday, tonnes and tones of information, whilst uploading all the relevant files back where they once where (only now they are on a new server).

Changes:

*New Photography section in the 'Liverpool Now' area.
*Liverpool 'Ex-Pats' moved into a 'subforum' within the 'Pool of Life' section (Liverpool Past)
*Support and Feedback area introduced for you to make suggestions, ask questions and seek support. Guests can now post here.

Known issues:

*Attachments are not working or displaying. Please don't attempt to attach anything until I have sorted this out.

Any problems:

Whilst you are enjoying our fresh and invigorated community, please keep an eye out for 'bugs', missing images (other than attachments), things not working as they used to.

You can post these at the Support and Feedback area.

Once again thank you for your support and be gentle with our new home, the next few days will be crucial, fingers crossed it all goes to plan!

With the new server move, will you be supplying Private Messages back again? I know the mods still use them but they were a handy feature for PM'ing someone off the list.

Guest posts are still subject to the usual image recognition test, where a real person has to input what they see on screen to proceed with the post. I know its not 100% but we have a spam attack mod installed.

I'll keep an eye out.
