LIVERPOOL'S biggest nightclub has been closed down after playing host to a catalogue of violence.

The 051 nightclub on Mount Pleasant was closed by magistrates who revoked its licence after hearing of attacks and incidents inside the club or linked to it, sparked by teenage drinkers.

I have never liked that place, lacked in atmosphere for me.

Just keep them away from Garlands, that is the only place I go when I am home..... saying that, the doormen do quite a good job of keeping the riff-raff outta there :)

Garlands = 2 rooms, one is funky uplifting house the other is darker and harder... wall to wall dancing, unisex toilets, egos at the door. As this place is a gay/mixed club, attitudes are checked at the door... big gangs of lads tend to get knocked back, as does anyone looking remotely shady.

Glamour, funkiness, sexy people and an all round happy atmoshpere. I love it :D
