Got back today after a week away in Ibiza (Es Canar).

Getting There

From arrival we got into the routine of; breakfast, shops, poolside/ beach, walk, tea-time, walk then drinks and entertainment for seven days!

The week was broken up by a few excursions including Santa Eulalia, the next larger town along the coast.

We got there by boat, like a taxi service from one resort to the next, very fast BUT EXTREMELY choppy, much much worse than any Mersey Ferry trip but fun:

Now these are pretty special. After take off this morning (23rd August 2007) the weather clear which gave me the oppotunity to take some stunning views from thousands of feet up, including some images of Liverpool!!!

Max Ibiza has far more than the party life. the island is beautiful. the beaches are incredible. the people really nice. lots of cool places to visit.

kEV, cracker photos and footage mate. I,ve never flown in my life apart from a short experience around the airport when I was a nipper, and I remember not liking it too much then. Watching your footage made me go nervous just looking at it. I wonder whether I will fly before I remain on or in the earth for good?

I have been for a 1 week holiday as well with camera on my hand all the time .Whoever I look at whom turning their face away!:):)Everyone fed of me taking photos.
Maybe we should open a new thread calling summer 2007 and everyone can post their holiday pictures and write about it..Good points,bad points etc.

Nice one Kev I hope you had a great time,them views over the Mersey when you approach JLA are amazing aren't they? I landed at night this time and it was fantastic looking down on Liverpool and the Mersey.

Thanks for the comments again, much appreciated. I too was apprehensive about Ibiza the first time we went (last year). The mad partying is only in San Antonio if I'm correct so there is the rest of the island to explore, not that we did much of that lol.

Its a weird thing when u go on holiday and u look at their infastructure, roads, safety, attitudes, services etc and compare with home. I came here from an intense period critisism of the UK and its problems which (continues now I'm home) and despite many things Ibiza lacks that Liverpool and the UK has, it was a much happier place, of course the sun helps but everyone was so nice and friendly. Why life, traditions, customs, attitudes etc etc the UK is in self destruction, God only knows but its very sad indeed.

I look at Liverpool's 'issues' (regarding festivals, construction etc) of late and when u are away things like that don't matter and I thought about how lucky Liverpool is, its a petty that I was on the wrong side of the plane when coming home!!

Cracking pictures Kev, especially around the airport. I've always wanted to charter my own plane and ask em to circle over certain parts in liverpool!
