Just a little info regarding that section of the Princes Landing Stage in my parents time, when cattle boats from Ireland berthed alongside the stage & cattle were herded up the ramp onto the top deck by that hut & from there driven through the city via London Rd to the Abbatoir on Prescot Rd . All this was done before the city woke but left considerable evidence in it's wake . :eek: Ron
